Named nothing like the rest. Built nothing like them either.
The People

The people behind the platform.

The Unvarnished series is the founder biography that names the thinking without naming the people.

The founders are in stealth until the seed round closes. The round is currently open. Everything they know about how to build this is documented — in the architecture, the white papers, and the thirteen field-note papers published before showing you anything. If you are evaluating InvestPuppy as an investment, the conversation starts here.

The founders

Two founders. A decade of shared professional history. Careers spanning institutional portfolio management technology and cloud-native financial infrastructure — at Tier 1 scale, across multiple jurisdictions.

The platform is the evidence of who built it.

Three design decisions in the platform that are only reached after operating inside these systems professionally.

Three-role separation

The Stock Analyst, Portfolio Manager, and Operations structure is not an interface design choice. It reflects the compliance architecture a licensed discretionary manager operates under — the specific points at which human sign-off is structurally required and cannot be designed away. This is the structure you arrive at after the third audit where role separation was missing.

Current market price allocation

The allocation step fetches current market prices at the time of allocation — not yesterday’s close, and not the prices used during optimisation. This distinction matters when a position is sized against a price that no longer exists. It is built correctly because it has been built incorrectly before. See this in practice across SGX, NASDAQ, and LSE →

Append-only audit trail

A record that can be changed is not an audit trail. This schema was designed by someone who sat with a compliance team reconstructing a decision twelve months later and found the record had been edited. That experience produced this design. It is not theoretical.

Beyond the two founders, InvestPuppy draws on experience in institutional quantitative research, production financial technology infrastructure, and regulatory compliance across Singapore, the UK, Switzerland, and the Middle East. We are a small team. That is a deliberate choice. It is also a temporary one.

InvestPuppy: Unvarnished

The Unvarnished series is the founder biography.

Before we built Vektor, we spent decades in the rooms where these projects fail. We wrote about it. Thirteen papers, published under our own name, before showing you anything. Not because it was comfortable — because it was accurate. That is who built this.

On the name

Vektor is the product brand. InvestPuppy is the maker’s mark — the company that built it, positioned beneath the product in the same way a precision manufacturer sits beneath a branded instrument. The two brands carry different weights by design: Vektor carries the institutional register; InvestPuppy signals that something human and deliberate is underneath it.

The name was chosen for distinctiveness, not in spite of it. A name that generates a question is doing its job. The answer to that question is the platform.

Full identification

Names, professional histories, and verifiable references are provided under mutual NDA, available immediately on request. InvestPuppy executes first as an entity; personal identification follows under the executed instrument. For Proof Partners this is typically at proposal stage. For Alloy Partners it is at Stage 2 initiation.

A specific question? For example:

"How long does the NDA process take, and what specifically does it disclose?"

Direct factual response. No data-gathering. No bullshit.

Operating context

InvestPuppy Pte Ltd is a Singapore-incorporated software company. Vektor is a portfolio management workflow platform: it supports the portfolio manager’s process from screening to order generation, with full audit trail and systematic documentation at every step. Order routing operates through the client’s existing brokerage relationships — Vektor prepares and queues orders; execution is handled by the portfolio manager through their established counterparties. It is not a licensed fund manager, investment adviser, or securities dealer — it does not execute orders on behalf of clients or hold client assets. Discretion remains entirely with the portfolio manager.

InvestPuppy Pte Ltd operates as a technology vendor. It does not hold a Capital Markets Services licence or any other MAS licence. Vektor is portfolio management infrastructure used by licensed investment professionals to support their own licensed activities.

Regulatory documentation for Singapore, UK, Switzerland, and the Middle East is available on request.
